JACK NOONAN 1946

At the time of WWII,  all  males  18 or over  were to register for the draft  which  meant possible entry into the armed forces.  Some people were  "exempt" because of skills needed I the defense industry.

Jack lived in a little hick town,Newington,  and had five kids.  Nobody thought he would have to go into the service, but Newington had a quota it had to supply for inclusion in the armed forces. Jack was drafted into the navy.
