THE POET LAUREATE OF SHERRY CIRCLE
The state turned over the Old Tolland Jail to the town of Tolland some years back. The question was what should be done with the buidings and property by the town. At the time, there were many opinions on the subject. That's why and when I wrote this ode. The piece was printed in the town's 275th Anniversary publication in 1990. I had forgotten about it until we started reorganizing lots of stuff recently.
