A SNAPPY COMEBACK
One of my summer jobs was in the Yard Gang at New Britain Machine. The gang did maintenance and janitorial jobs, The guys in the gang were college students/public school teachers, so it was a pretty brainy bunch. When you are dealing with smart people, you have to be careful,as you will see.
The father of one of the gang was a boss at the company.
One day, the old man was berating his son, publickly, telling him wherein he was deficient. When the old man finished pointing out the kid's shortcomings, the kid asked his father, "Do you attribute that to heredity or environment?"
