Pat and I drove to Jessica's wedding in Champaign, IL. It wasn't a bad drive (9 hours), especially when your brother won't let you drive and you get to talk on the phone, look out the window, and listen to music. It was fun!

The night before the ceremony Jessica hosted a dinner for ~ 20 people. She is quite a cook! Her meatballs are memorable; I recommend all of you send her a wedding card with a self-addressed, stamped envelope asking for that recipe! Here's her address if you'd like to send a card:

Her husband, Pat, is a tremendously talented artist who specializes in large figurative paintings (yes, that's code for nudes). His work is so impressive, both for its beautiful technical style and the artistic messages embedded in each piece. I think he'll be famous some day. Stay tuned!
