Here is a recent picture of Joey, one of the most laid-back, sweet, and obedient dogs I've ever known. Paul nicely summarized the difference between Sonny Jones and Joey: Sonny J. was a New Yorker, brash, pushy, and wasn't afraid to bite; Joey is Midwestern, easy-going, likeable, and blends into any social grouping. Very different dogs, but both completely adorable. Coming to the blog soon: Joey's picture with Santa!

I'll bet you can engage that pooch in conversation---look him right in the eye and say anything--nonsense or horsesense--if he is as smart as you say, you will get a response. dad
