WE'RE TALKIN' COLD
NEXT TIME YOU ARE SAYING HOW MUCH YOU LIKE THE CHANGING SEASONS, TAKE A LOOK AT NOONSKI'S THERMOMETER ON A FEBRUARY MORN. A FEW WEEKS AGO, IT WAS 50 DEGREES HIGHER, AND WE WERE ALREADY RUMMAGING FOR BEACH TOWELS, SUN SCREENS AND THE LIKE.

About 600 area schools were closed this past Monday and Tuesday (some even beyond that) because of the frigid temps. It was 5 below but with the wind chill it felt like 25 below. The worry was about the kids hanging out at the bus stops.
Andy's school had a scheduled break for this past Monday and Tuesday-I guess you feel cheated when everyone else ends up with an unplanned break also!
