THIS AIN'T SIBERIA------
BUT IS IS ALMOST AS COLD, I'LL BET. WHAT APPEARS TO BE SNOW IS FROZEN SOLID SO THAT I CAN WALK ON IT WITHOUT PENETRATING IT. THE FOOTPRINTS WERE THERE BEFORE THE DEEP FREEZE.
THE NEXT PICTURE IS NOT AS CLEAR, BUT HAS A STORY. WHEN THE OIL MAN STUCK THE BILL NEXT TO THE FRONT DOOR, I HAD TO PUT ON MY BOOTS AND GO THROUGH THE SNOW TO GET IT, AND I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I FIGURED THAT WHILE I'M THERE, I'LL SHOVEL THE SNOW AWAY FROM THE FRONT DOOR BECAUSE IT LOOKED A LITTLE HIGH. TURNED OUT THE SNOW HAD BECOME A SOLID BLOCK OF ICE AND IF WE HAD FOUND IT NECESSARY TO GO OUT THAT WAY IN A FIRE, THE DOOR COULD NOT BE OPENED. I FELT LIKE THE ICEMAN HACKING AWAY AT THAT ICY MASS AND THROWING IT OFF THE STEPS IN BLOCKS. THE OIL MAN HAD POINTED OUT A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
