The back of the house proved to be a huge job. Most of the plywood had to be replaced because the original stuff had delaminated. We think a lot of the mustiness in tbe house had to come from there. As you can see, the wrap in on the backside, and awaits the vinyl siding.
The builder thinks he will find more delaminations on the driveway side, and less on the other two sides. Whatever it takes! They did the roof first, and had to replace 27 sheets of plywood which will add a couple of extra thousands to the cost--it will be added to the price agreed on by the agency and the builder. Our builder has a great reputation. He told me today that he has already done 6 houses in our area---and we only found out about the program last February.
