Tolland High Gathering
Gail and I went to the Tolland High Gathering over the Labor Day weekend, here are some of the pictures. We weren't sure what to expect, but I have to say it was more fun than we had imagined. I've always enjoyed going to my RHS reunions, but this one had 5 classes so it was a unique experience talking to such a wide variety of people who spanned so many phases of our lives going back over 40 years.
Gail, Joy and Sue Kassett having a laugh. We had lots of them over the course of the night.
Patty and Pam Wells, Joy and Sue Kassett, Gail, Darlene Bielecki
Bob, Nancy Gebhardt, Patty Wells
David Mullholland and I had a few laughs about the time Mike dragged Betsy over to his house after school one day to beat him up! He swears he came out to take his beating but his mom told us to go home. I told him I recall he was cowering in his room and never came outside. We also had agood laugh about the time Betsy beat up Joyce Zarnecki at the THS school dance one night. He remembered her dresses-with-sneakers outfits too. In his words ..... she was way ahead of her time.
Darlene, George Beitner, Patty and Gail.
Phil Richardson and Nancy Gebhardt
Gail talking to Phil Richardson. We had fun talking to Phil, he had a lot of fond memories hanging out with Mike. See if you can pick out Becky and Bill Ellert. How about John Barbero.Gail, Pam Smith and Brent Gottier. Brent and I recalled some of our glory days playing for the Cards in Tolland Little League. He remembered the time he was playing first and I was pitching, we picked Richard Charland leading off.
Steve Goephert with Sue Kassett and Mickey O'Neil
Timmy Duell with the Kassett and Wells girls.

New business cards
New business cards I just made for myself as a freelance videographer. My site it up quite yet, but will be updated with my work soon!
The barcode box on the back is something called a QR code. (quick response code) It can be scanned with your smart phone and take you directly to my site from your phone! Pretty cool stuff. Let me know what you think. I'll have an updated post once my site is up!

BOTTLE FENCE STILL EVOLVING
Views of the fence vary with sunlight and varying times of day. New ideas, suggestions, and materials are incorporated into the fence on a daily basis . There is no model to follow, therefore no violation of protocols. Who can say I am wrong? I think it is the first real hobby I ever had.
Said fence extends across much of back yard. The fun of it is in solving what are engineering problems of materials, methods, and manufacturing . On a simple , level, it challenges me to plan an entire process, assemble and organize tools , assess design possibilities and utilization of available spacAnd it keeps me off the street
P.S> en tered next day: High winds are predicterd for today, so I dismantled the fknce and stored nit in the shed., Because of smart engineering, the dismantling took about ten mimutes. It will reassemle just as easily.....each section is an independent unit, .

An Evening of Dance at Alfred University
This coming February I will be featured in a dance theater concert at Alfred University. I've been in this dance showing two years already and this will be my third. Whats most special about this year is our visiting choreographer: Brian Brooks who is big in NYC right now. He creates modern dance works with his company and he's coming to my school to produce a piece for our concert. I've fortunately been selected to work with him along with two other choreographers, a professor and a student. Im looking forward to all the hard work and long hours of rehearsal!
Here are some images from the work Brian Brooks performed at the opening of our new theater two years ago:
This is the Miller Theater at Alfred University where the February Dance Theater Concert will take place.
Here is an image from my first dance theater performance choreographed by Robert Bingham, who sadly no longer teaches here.
And in the same concert I was in another piece choreographed by a fellow student named Katie Barlow. Im on the farthest left.
Im third from the left.
This was just last years show where I was only in one piece but it was a guest artist by the name Tiffany Mills. She also has a company in NYC.
She wanted only the colors red, yellow, orange and brown to make up our costumes.
Im the second from the right with my head back.
Hopefully this year I can successfully accomplish learning three pieces!

CHECKING THE FENCE
After looking and shaking each bottle, Thomas decided he liked the onewith bundled toothbrushes the best . He said he has the toothbrush, can get a bottle but will need some help in starting his own collection.
