A librarian at Tolland Library was telling us about a lecture which will be presented in the library next week, and asked if we would be interested in attending, when I asked if preregistration would be required, Moe remarked that we registered for the talk on Alzheimer's Disease then we forgot to attend.

THE DAY AFTER THE BLIZZARD OF 2013
Regarding the picture of my shoes:
In the parlance of the citizenry of our native city might have put it, "I ain't got no boots!" But as I did in that time of life, I tucked my pants cuff into my socks.I also did this to keep my cuff s from being drawn into my bicycle chain. Pretty inovative stuff, I would say if pressed for comment.
Aside from that, you get an idea
of what 33 inches of snow looks like.
No newspaper delivery for the past two days. Today is a beautiful day, and we are going out to supper

DIANE & PHIL----GOOD NEIGHBORS
Our good neighbors, Phil and Diane Meek , came to our rescue when it became apparent that we would be unable to open our back door in an emergency---snow was piled half way up the storm door. They even shoveled a path to the street in case we needed to get out.

The Blizzard of 2013 was probably the worst in our experience here. Thank god we did not lose our power, and did not have to get out. The snow was reported to be 33 inches in Tolland, and it looked like even more
