A NICE COMPLIMENT

The 50th anniversary of the Crystal Lake School was celebrated yesterday. This was where Noonski first taught in Ellington. It was surprising the see the attached article featuring the event.

OUR BEAUTIFUL MAGNOLIA

We had an unusually warm start for our winter. There was some question as to whether trees which seemed to have produced buds would bloom as usual. As you can see, the magnolia did. The magn0lia is pretty much the same, but since last year's picture, the house has been completely redone.

Club 50

A co-worker of mine recently got me to join the Portage County Habitat for Humanity Club 50.
The idea behind Club 50 is to get 1,000 members who will each pledge $50 every time a new Habitat home is completed in the County. A couple of houses were completed last year and this year they are hoping for 4 or 5. (I am not asking you to join, if you do like the idea see if there is something local). I like the thought that this is for people who live close by. In the attached picture you will see the guy (and his dog) who will be moving into their new home this afternoon.
I was invited to the dedication, and was thinking of going, but the only problem is that I don't know where the house is! Did anyone see an address on the announcement?

EASTER AT NOONSKI'S

MARY, MAX , MOE AND NOONSKI HAD EASTER DINNER TOGETHER. MOE WORKED HER USUAL MAGIC IN PREPARING THE FARE. WE HAD A NICE INTELLECTUAL EXCHANGE, AND IT WAS A NICE DAY. IN THE COURSE OF THAT DAY, WE HAD PHONE CALLS FROM ALL OF OUR CHILDREN.
